Graves Ambassadors 2025 Awards
Since 2021, the list of Graves Ambassadors has been presented to us. This year, the vintage wines Graves Rouge 2022 and Graves Blanc 2023 are highlighted!
In 2021, the appellation Graves launched the first label for wines tasted and selected by consumers. It responds to their overall demand to better identify wines suited to their tastes and preferences in the face of a plethora of offerings, but also to take into account the emergence of other issues such as respect for the environment or the development of wine tourism.
What is a Graves Ambassador?
A Graves Ambassador is a wine that meets the following 3 criteria:
1- Strict compliance with the specifications of the appellation
2- Environmental certification, a guarantee of the winemaker's respect for his environment
3- Facilities ready to welcome you all in their Château!
Once these criteria have been verified by an independent body, the selected wines are tasted blind by more than 120 people.

Château de Portets has been elected Ambassador of Graves for the fourth consecutive year!
For the winemakers, this award marks the implementation of a policy of producing excellence and demanding standards. Collectively, it demonstrates the ability of the winemakers of the AOP Graves to perpetuate the know-how inherited from an incomparable history that places their wines among the most highly regarded in the Bordeaux wine region.
